She began her artistic activity in the 70-ties, graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the 1977 in the studio of prof. I. Tchórzewski and prof. A. Rudziński.

For many years a member of Polish Artists Association and Skladnica Sztuki. Co- creator of many artistic events. Chairman of Polish Assosiation of Grafik Artists and Painters by the Assosiation of Polish Artists and Designers. Member of Association Internationale des Arts Plastiques/AIAP.We can admire her works in art galleries and museums all over the world. She joins roughness, decisiveness of her brush with smooth, foggy surfaces. They are only part of the mystery of each work of art. Linear stains of paint fulfill the rest and depict space.

Composition is the main base to create the subject. Each picture is given philosophical analysis of colour, form and topics which then result in symbolism and materialism of works.

They are controversial because of their vivid colours, expression of revealing the way life events happen.

The artist follows the rule “art is life, life is art” the everlasting unity of thoughts and existence.

The artist can be identified with contemporary art trend called ‘colour field painting’, where the colour plays the most important role. Artist’s main focus shifts towards revealig hue, an emotion carrier, on a large painting surface. Creative process is strictly controlled. Painter aimes at releasing huge potential of hue expression and therefore creating illusion of mass, motion and space. The superior idea is an emotional interaction. Artist’s paintings are completely different than before as her painting style has evolved. Never the less they still astonish, leaving the audience with feeling that nothing can be anticipated when it comes to the artist.

What is her painting like?

When she was fully defined, she didn’t ensure about the invariability and monotony of her works. At the beginning her artistic senasations and interpretations were far different. Nowadays, she reveals everything that has been concealed and too private. Those earlier paintings should be looked at through her broad experience, the newer ones present her whole artistic personality. Before, her art belonged to a general tendency being a part of it. She was considered as a passionate of her brush. Her artistic knowledge and spontaneity were awarded. She knew that her psyche was the main engine in her painting. Nothing could have been made faster until she decided herself.

With her strong personality (earlier subconsciously) she was preparing her hidden mysteries, her philosophical rethinking. Now she classifies it as her third trend of creativity, the third phase of pure experience without anything specific and tamed.

The subject is specified symbolically, whereas the from is very important and also space, composition, feelings.

Her painting became more impressing, less realistic and concrete. She shows varieties difficult to capture but existing deeply in each of us.

Her motto is to catch happiness, sourness, inability, desire, time and to show it on canvas. Her feature is not to dramatize but to make our being easthetic. She is conducting her inner talk with the beauty of colourful surfaces, colourful after-views, reflexes on the background of linear drawing.

She treats herself as everybody else keeping in mind our being exceptional.

Painting requires much knowledge but one mustn’t show it outside. It should be hidden inside. A true picture comes from our soul from the source of knowing. The truth of making everything up is the power of the piece of art.

If you can touch the mystery and it will be a joyful game, awakening and making our imagination free then it is obvious that our experience has been saved. Everything can be the reason but it must be experienced strongly. The sense of creation is to struggle with oneself, with something what is beyond us but what proves our existence. If we know it, we will learn more. She provokes us to take part in the experience. The base of a human personality makes her active.

How to read her works?

She calls it taming the reality, showing human soul. She reflects diversity of experience and feelings. However not lasting they are, she prolonges their life.

This is our civilization, hectic, short, difficult to be described. But the world is still ours, so she respects it as it is. She doesn’t impose her viewpoint, she leaves us the space for free interpretation and contemplation, giving us only titles and the sensation of her works.

She takes part not only in life but also in history of our sensitivity.
